3.5" is the accepted cube substrate depth so looks like he'll be great.
I don't know if that's different with PE varities
I think its neat that these provide enough fae for cubes like y'all are showing here with the lids on, I live in bfe and don't usually have anything good but family Dollar actually had some decent small bins for $1, they're a lil bigger but still have a shitty fitting lid soooo
I dig how the sub would evaporate less, having more water for musn

Still 98 cents at Target. I spawned a shitload of the same ratio of Rye/CVG in quart Ziplock twist locks a couple days ago. It'll be interesting to see how these compare.

I find with shoe boxes once you spawn them you have to check every so often because the lid will have a lot of mist on it. This will drop down and really wet the middle usually of the box.

Yeah, flip the lid and hopefully that'll help kick start some pins and evaporate some of that excess moisture.

I agree with Josex, they definitely don't look healthy
More air might help

Jumping on the shoebox bandwagon! May 8

Today 8 days after spawning to coir

So hard to not lift the lid and oogling over it eveyday. Trying to wait 2 more days before giving it more FAE. This is my first clone grow. Clone got named buffalo tongue from veurm subsequentis. The big one on the left.
