I broke it 2 days ago when I remove liner and check the under of it for seeing if there is hyphal knot. Well it seems alive because mycelium starts to cover up the broken place. There are yellowish spots on the sides and under. I think it was because of the liner. I store this shoebox in a mini-gh with lid off and 12/12 6500k light cycle, temp is around 23-24c

that may benefit from a casing.
the surface looks matted to death from too much misting/whatever a mini GH does. its a shoebox. it is its own gh
..closer look... thats not a shoebox!

Yes it is likely mid-shoebox Should I case it with simply dry verm?

Bro did you give it air man ?
Looks like maybe you waited too long to introduce fae and initiate fruiting but what do I knkw
You should limit fae and keep co2 high during colonization then once fully colonized you gotta reduce co2 with fae and provide some moisture on the surface to evaporate if there isn't any
My bad just noticed you said you keep it in a greenhouse. Shit looks matted as fuck like mushboy said, guess the most likely culprit is what jhova said, possibly way over misting I guess
Still wondering if you waited too long to take the lid off maybe ...?

Straight verm is not a good casing and dry verm can only be worse

Nah it looks like that from being wet and then drying out completely 3-4 times. A light mist then bottom watering would have been better.

At what point do you usually bottom water? I've had trouble getting my entire pin set to mature so im thinking about trying it out. Can you bottom water even if the sub hasnt pulled away from the sides but the pinset has come in?
And once you bottom water, are you able to slow down/completely stop misting?

When the pinset comes in heavy, bottom water then give it plenty of fae

So once i bottom water i can pretty much stop worrying about misting at that point and just worry about giving the proper FAE?

Only mist if it needs it, not because you're there and ready to mist it.
Bottom watering right now won't do you any good. If the sub is saturated with enough water and pins are already there then no misting won't be necessary after a certain point. They create their own humidity. You've got a minute until you figure out what that thing needs though, so just hold tight and sit on your hands unless it dries out, then you have our permission to mist it
