My 3 sboeboxs of PE6 harvested through the week. been busy since I started working, forgot to write my wet weight down but I cut them and left the babies but the nutra bullet shake was about 200+ grams and have a steady supply for a good while. M first 66q was a bit of a mix but 2nd flush coming in. I always crack my sub into pieces after harvest. So definitely loving shoeboxes because I made two more shoeboxes and a 66q monotub yesterday. While I took my cleanest jar to 9 g2g quarts today and some pastyplates. Tried the josex poke method to a few and this b+ that seemed a bit wispy but hopefully they become clean.

Please no, why? Are you at least using pasty to start spores? I only use pasty plates for starting spores, because it's not needed after a few days. If you want I just found agar in a town near me, I'll trade ya agar for some print or something. Please don't use paste if you have options, I used it for a minute and it sucks, agar is so nicer. It pains me to here people talk about paste after my experiences, I literally drive 120 mi to get agar now. Would you like some?

Ah, yeah I'm taking BRF and some other goodies whooped together then poorer in a short jar/PC'able dish. PC at 1 bar for not that long (doesn't take a lot to sterilize or burn the puck) then let cool and use like a normal plate. They suck just because of stupid little reasons. The work just the same I found as agar, just a more of a hastle.

Thanks ya'll, and yes its agar and I got tons of agar. But I'll see if 2nd flush pulls some printable caps and maybe I can finally start trading.
It would be about a year in a couple weeks since I got my first syringes and though some where contaminated I was able to print thanks to the amazing effort this community puts into

It would have been super cool if a mushroom grew from the do. I’ve seen it before on here where a shroom grows on top of another shroom

After dunking a shoebox how long do you guys usually wait to start misting again? I just dunked mine for 2 hours and then dub tubbed it.

When the surface looks dry and looks like it needs to be misted. There is no magic number

After letting it soak for two hours tho the mycelium looks very wet and almost transparent looking kind of. Does it need to recover or something and fluff back up?
Also, what do you guys use to weigh down your shoeboxes while dunking? I didn't realize how much force it needs to keep it under water. I ended up putting a empty shoebox on top of it and filled it with water until it was heavy enough, but I'm worried all that weight coild of damaged the little pins I left.

Someone else might have more to say in reguards to dunking, I usually just bottom water and soak the surface. The advice I was given was surface conditions always matter, so you want to try and keep the same surface conditions on your subsequent flushes as you would on your first flush.

How do you guys think I should go about getting a second flush with this shoebox?
It has slightly pulled away from the sides, but not drastically, and it definitely feels pretty light.
Imm getting ready to harvest the last fruits but it seems there are a ton of pins that have just been sitting there. Possibly the second flush pins?
Should i dunk the sub, bottom water, or heavily mist you think? So far I've been dunking and weighing down with another shoebox filled with water.

Also there is a side pin that is aborted that I can't reach. Will that pose a problem with rotting or anything you think?

Just bottom water If it has pulled away from the sides and you are concerned about the pins on top.

You can or you could wait. I would personally probably wait a day or two to increase fae but there's people who would probably do it now. Really up to you. Might have to discover what works best for you
