Sounds good dude and yes no pooling. Best of luck hoping to see some dank pinsets soon

So pumped!... I can't say how thankful I am for everybody on here helping me along it has made it so much easier than trying to do this just through literature and I'm super lucky to have such a great group of people to associate with!

I have a heat pad and am contiplating leaving it in the area( away from the shoebox) to increase the ambient air temp. I know heating pads are a huge no no here but I figure if I'm just using it to heat the area and don't have my shoebox sitting on it it can't be that bad right? I really enjoy this thread i've read the first 42 pages so far and have learned a bunch thanks!!
... the closer you can be to 75° ambient temperature the better off you're going to be... but I do believe things will still grow in temperatures lower than 75 but 75 is optimal and what you should shoot for..
i think you're a little off on those temps

generally heating mats lead to infected grows as the special warming effect they give correlates well to people posting pictures of failures.
temperatures of 65-80+ are great for fruiting temperatures of 65-75F are great for colonization. and temperatures of 68-72F are what I call optimal

Why not use a space heater? More efficient IMO

68-72F is optimal for cubes.

I could use a space heater if need be but I figured I could just use the mat as I have it laying around and I think the area is kinda small to have a space heater and I'm afraid the hot air will dry it out to much and I'm going for as little fiddling with as possible

The room I fruit in hits around 82-83F lately by the afternoon. I've still been getting 2-4 flushes from every box. Maybe I would have better luck in the 68-72F range? Makes me wonder.

I found that my little heater in my grow closet would dry out my subs alot faster, I stopped using it and my room still stays 72-75°

Just means you might have slower colonization times, not that you can’t grow. Ask our friends in Canada what their temps are

I’m not sure if I’m misting too much or not enough. The sub looks a little dry to me but it looks like a few pins a ready to abort. AA+ Starting seeing pins about 5 days ago. Lids are set loosely on top. I’ve been misting twice a day for probably 3 days.

At a glance, it looks like sub is a bit dry, but your pins are wonderful. Just observe surface when judging a mist. Get some beads of water on that shit. No pooling.

I got one shoebox with a bit of pooling in areas but the rest looks like it could use a misting but I don't want to add to the pools? Just wait for the pools to evap? Try to mist around the pools? ( )
I currently just have it sitting out for a lot more fae
I want a uniform surface but all that seems possible is to wait for the pools to recede and begin misting again but looking for any input or options

Ok... Got some side pinning ... is this a bad thing or whatever? I'm paying close attention to my Surface moisture conditions and have been misting as needed. Here's some before and after pics from this morning when I woke up..
Before...
After..
