I actually really enjoy the process of grating the cakes (it smells so good!), and next time I will be reserving a small amount to drop straight to grains. Had great luck with BRF to grains. After that though, I will be cloning with both pin2grain and pin2agar. I have a B+ pin on rye which is pretty much ready for G2G. I'm finding the process of G2G to be a bit wasteful until I'm expanding a good clone. With the cakes, I can spawn a shoebox and expand to grains simultaneously.[/quotQuote:

I'm not a TC, but I would venture to say using a syringe to doll out you LI is just adding an extra vector for contamination. I would suggest getting a bottle with measurements and maybe a narrow neck to pour you inoculate

Good call. I already have a couple such bottles. I've been too haphazard in that aspect.

Made some shoeboxes today. A little Agar work also. I leveled them out and added another 1/4" sub on top after the picture.

Shoeboxes are solid. I had problems maintaining a high RH% in mine though. I've moved to monotubs and they work far better.

Massively contraindicated yourself there. I don't see a point to your comment

I need to find a bottle like this. I've been using a wide mouth jar. Let me know if you have better results.

I picked up 15 of these 6qts today, will be using them by themselves and dubbing them, if they work out good without any modifications, I'm ditching the bigger tubs.

its like from fear and loathing. whats the ..trouble??
squares see us having far out experiences and pleasures from the oddest stuff. like licking each other sleeves or being elated at the sight of freshly stocked plastic bins.
With a bit of luck, her life was ruined forever. Always thinking that just behind the shelf at her favorite mega-mart, some guys are holding bins getting incredible kicks from things she’ll never know.

I went to the Dollar store yesterday and grabbed seven shoeboxes to use as dub lids. The guy at the register said I must have a lot of storage needs. I told him that my shoes were so big, only one could fit per box. He then asked if I only had seven shoes & I told him that I shared one on Sunday. That pretty much much shut him up for the duration of our interaction.

whats your growing tek like once they are spawned for a standard cube, i assume you take the lids off of each of them for at least a little bit to iniate fruiting?
how often do you mist?
do you ever flip the lid like in bod's unmodified tubs?
No. Don't assume. You spawn to a shoebox then wait for the mushies to grow, as laid out in the tek.
Daily.
No.
what is your mist technique like
