Ok, I'll take a print. there's 3 MS syringes still in the fridge, and I got agar going which should create endless WBS jars.. I'll have to learn to print.

Update
15 days after spawning.. This is very exciting

Alot of these are being all funky and twisted, is there a reason for this?

genetics?? ive been having those guys too.. they grow up and the tray will look decent. a few people have been messing around with top layers/puesdo casings and the such... sometimes the inverted caps/twisted stems can be a sign of trich.
but i wouldnt worry to much.. i dont think its a fae issue. not sure if you detailed it earlier but whats your setup?
or a more experienced grower will chime in and show us the light. because ive been having similar trays.. not always but sometimes.

Another update. These are all 1qt spawn. I just made up a few shoeboxes with 2qt spawn /1.5qt sub with .5qt casing. I feel like the fruits are going to mature while they are pretty small with thse 1qt shoeboxes... Will probably have to dub the new shoeboxes with 2qt when they fruit, they surely will exceed the height of the bin

For my own interest, is the ratio here (2qt spawn: 1.5qt sub : .5qt casing) "Optimal" or could I do 1qt spawn : 2qt sub : 0.5qt casing ? and is straight verm fine for casing?
I wont have much spawn available for when I plan to do these. We are headed into the thick of winter (Southern hemisphere, and it gets really really cold by me) soon so unless I do something for heat I'll probably slow down my spawn creation. I can focus on quantity after winter.

more like 1part spawn. 1part sub, little bit extra for some top layer. its all eyeballed. i have no idea really but i have culinary expertise so eyeballing things is kinda second nature
but with cubes we use high spawn rations. the max ive done was 1:3 and it triched out before it could colonize. took forever. sometimes ill do 1:2 but its rare. 1:1 is simple easy and give quick results. commercial edibles use something like 1:10 or something like that.
no casings. i just use a top layer. verm can work but its expensive.
my pics are from the winter months. hvac cranking making the ambient air dry as fuck.

It may look impressive on these photos, because its up close.. but they seem kinda small.. maybe not enough FAE... thoughts?
On another note.. When I made sub, I used 1 brick of coir, 2 qt's of verm, a bit of gyp.. this made too much, even after using up 6qts sub, I still have probably another 6qts now sitting in this sealed pale.. Can I rehydrate/re-pasteurize that in a few weeks to use again? Or is it going to be contaminated as fuck by then, and might as well next time, cut the coir brick in half if I know im not going to need that much

Verm and coir are mostly sterile. I've used some that's weeks old, a. Mix of verm and coir, no issues. Just seal it up so no spores or anything can get in it. Is this first flush? It can be small if so. Second should be better

There may be better info, but I put enough to go halfway up the side of sub, for 12 hrs. Then drain well by tipping or flipping

i get either some small guys.. some medium.. some large. its kind of all over. im defiantly jealous of other peoples ms grows when i pull trays of shorties but ive also grown a 62g monster so its hard to really say whats causing it.
fae? maybe? my grow area is a opened closed with a sliding door. its 2feet deep and about 6-7 feet wide. 12ft high?? decent size to do lots of shit in. and ive grown lots of shrooms they are just always about 3-5inches on average. keeping it real ive never had canopies of LARGE fruits(like over 20g wet) and i see some grows on here where its like 40g forests but its how ive always grown. and potency is rarely an issue. ive also grown shorties like these in completely different conditions with different mediums so ...
but toss ideas at me and ill play around and see whats up.
i am going to to some runs outside of my closet just in the open.. or maybe the spring/summer months will be kinder to me? looking back i always seemed to grow in the winter times.. i think this is my first time doing it in the spring/summer? but that could also be completely irrelevant.
anyone wanna 'light my path' a little?
