They are treasure coast if anyone is wondering.

I'm curious. Do you have any pictures from when you put it into fruiting conditions?

Nah, there like $1.50-$2, I wouldn't want to use old ones and they make great arm holes.

You can make one for less than $20 u.s.
Are you sterilizing your grains in a pressure canner?
Replace some toilets recently?

Of course.
Ok, just making sure, I've seen people try to do all sorts of things to try and get around using a pc. I've done small batches of wbs in the microwave but It's the only thing that worked. Other grains wouldn't get hot enough or would burst.
I'm not sure where it went wrong. I'm assuming in my sterile technique when I nocked them up. But I was doing my best to be as sterile as possible. I've had one successful mono followed by many failures since.

No I don't, the grains were bacterial af from going ms into rye.. it was a grow kit pre made b.s. i was using at the Time. I'm just glad I got a big fruit to clone to agar now instead of dealing with ms germination again.
I've been exclusively working with agar now to clean up all my different varieties of cubes I have atm, so far I've got one master jar at 40% and it was done from a clone I took and put into agar and then transferred 2 times till the growth was nice and even and fast. It's been in the grain jar for only 4 days and I shook it once after the agar went in.

You can put your phone camera on top of your sab and video yourself, you will see where your going wrong possibly.

My first GWM pin popped in one of the early shoeboxes today! Looking like there will be a lot more soon. Excited!
I will be sure to share some pics when they get rolling.

I normally spawn into a monotub. However, I wanted to try out shoeboxes this time around.
How do these look? Do shoe boxes take longer than monotub to start pinning?

Ive been misting when the top layer has no moisture or the sides of tub. Is this correct or should misting be done ever few hours? Ive been propping an edge of unmodified shoebox up with a marker. Do I even need to give a FC FAE or is it fine to just leave alone?

You could leave the lids snapped on in place if you wanted to, the beauty of these boxes is they are designed to not fully seal so that shoes don't get moldy and stink like the devils gouche.

Sounds like your doing it right. Every few hours is to much. Should be able to get by on a couple times a day.

Ok, cool. What is the generic method on FAE? Any need to expose fresh air by leaving lid propped? Or just mist and put lid back on?

Sometimes. Its not necessary with cubes but does tend to help with keeping surface conditions on point. Its a matter of preference

I cased one side of a tray and not the other. Yesterday the side without casing showed a pin first. Cubensis B+ #47. My first pin ever!

Just flip the lid and mist 2 times a day if needed but atleast once. If you have any low humidity in the house you may have to mist a little more often than someone in a more humid area.

I just told you. No need to keep opening the lid. The cracks around the top are enough, don't try to lock it down, just flip lid over and lay it on top.
