Really digging these shoeboxes. Still multispore here, but doing much better than my previous round. Also, is the fuzzy feet on the fruits an issue. Is that caused by lack of FAE?

What's up shoebox thread? Haha...
Yesterday I spawned two shoeboxes; each with 2 qts of colonized wbs spawn (slightly over aged) and 2 qts of Hpoo/coir w/ gypsum and veg. oil added..... One thing I did differently though was dunk the grains before bulking in this electrolyte water:

"Vapor distilled water with vitamins and minerals for taste".... Hahaha. Ingredients are; distilled water, magnesium sulfate, potassium bicarbonate, and potassium chloride.
Haha, so what do you guys think about this? Will it colonize and fruit fine ya think? Are any of those ingredients harmful to mycellium I wonder? Guess I'll find out!

Yeah the spawn was kinda old... I shoulda bulked it a week ago, lol. So I was gonna dunk it anyway bcuz it took 4ever to finish colonizing due to dryness.... I've been wanting to try it with this water anyway for awhile so since I had this kinda "throw-away" spawn I figured I'd try it! Hope it works, it's not exactly easy peasy getting that hpoo hand shredded and pasteurized!

Id say in this entire thread, maybe 2 or 3 grows used hpoop. Straight coir is all i use.
But i will be updating with hpoo as well. Just gotta go get some.
@4life - those trays might be good for one off 'disposable' grows. Might check one out. Thanks

TheMadHatter420 said: The wet weight increase was on the same clone. I did notice a dry increase as well. It probably was due to a few factors but what I can tell you is this. I ran 4 shoeboxes each with 2 quarts of spawn of an LGT clone. I got something like 7.3 oz off of the 4. So just under a ounce per quart. Then I had 5 more about a week behind. Now maybe I just took better care of them, but they were giving me over an oz, about 1.25 ounce per quart. One shoebox gave me a little over 3 oz dry off the 2 quart spawn. Some of the, specially that shoebox, were rather dense and nice size. All I know for sure is I am going to keep working on better spawn, and other things, but I am going to keep doing what is workings for me for now. I will see how my 64 QT, of this clone, turns out. I hope to get closer to set and forget down the road, but I do have the time to take care of them.
Here are the pics from the first 4. I actually tracked this fairly well with pic, lol, just not the dry weights. I could hunt them in threads but fuck that.

Here are 4 of the 5, they didn't all flush one right after another but I was able to learn and increase the weights. The last one gave just like 3.3oz dry.

Mad hatter, when you cloned the original sample for this culture, were they about this size? I can’t get any fruits much larger than a couple inches tall. I want to start cloning, but I don’t wanna waste my time cloning small fruits.

Your clones will vary in size depending on the environmental factors as well. At least my 3 clones vary in size from grow to grow
Also second and third flush fruits get bigger sometimes
