I was thinking the same thing but even with my tray open fruiting with no dome in the gh it's not drying out very quick. I've misted maybe 2 times in the 4 days so far

Look forward to it!
But using a GH for shoeboxes is sorta against the grain of this application.
The shoebox is the greenhouse. Get it.. grain? Damn im funny.

Well if your shoeboxes define your understanding of hopeless then hopeless is what I’d like to go for! I’ve been open airing most days and then flipped lids at night hoping to achieve a flush like your crazy 1052g one.

Lol true true but I was just using the shoeboxes as the containers at this point lol I'll probably just open fruit the whole time after pinsets appear in the gh

Awesome JFlint, I'm doing 1 of my current tubs completely with no lid(as the one in my sig) and 1 about 50% on and 50% off(after I take the lid off at around the 5-6 day mark). Interested to see how much difference there is although it's not much of a formal test since this is regular old multispore. I lost the plates for my Brazilian clones in a house move, along with my cat , so looks like it's back to square one of multispore, ohhhh well should have fun, I love growing these fuckers. I got a good bit of spawn to work with so hopefully I can spawn a couple tubs every week now .

Yea I honestly try not to think about it, I fucking loved that cat, raised her from weeks old for 5 years. She got out right after I got to my new house and never came back , it really feels like I lost a family member. RIP Eva, she might not be dead but it helps with closure to imagine she's not wandering around looking for her family . It's been about 2 months... she's not coming back

shrooms are like cats. the more you ignore them, the more they get up in your business.

Just gave this thread some time of day, and I'm impressed.
Currently on some bottlez, but I like the idea less space.
Thanks Mush!
Also, props for sticking around this thread

Tis a good thread mush
just harvested my first shoeboxes 1:1 with a quart of ms cambo each open air when I was home and martha when I wasn't 17 on one, 16 on the other with two harvests to accommodated the uneven pinset didn't get the best yield on these shorties but damn do they dry fast!

On the topic of cats, I've known three to make the journeys back to their old homes after a move. In one case it was several miles and across a fucking bridge. Two months is a long time, but depending how far the move was it might be worth checking out the old hood.

Pretty small fruits. It was multispore though. Took some clone samples from another box. This one pushed 180g wet. How long can I expect to wait before second flush comes in?

Thanks Mushboy. It’s always encouraging to hear your feedback. Hoping these clones will fruit better. Few weeks.

Wish I would have taken a pic for you guys. Just pulled 854g off of a shoebox made with 2 QT spawn. Should dry to 2.5-3 oz.

My First AA tub has been tossed, found suspicious almost hyphal knot like growth on it and around some of the areas it had slightly greened and metabolites were in the surrounding area, it looked almost like how trick under a microscope looks with little bumps along the ropey mycelium, I believe it was trick or aspergillus, definitely didn't trust it. Ohhhh well got another one a week behind and much more spawn at about 50%.
And damnnnn no picks of the epic 800 g shoebox? What was the variety, great job.
