Fucking LGT clone, and I hope it fruits as fast as the ones it came from. I was picking fruits on the 10th day from spawn, so wish me luck that the clone performs this way.

I have so many jars colonizing that I am going to do 2qt to 3-4qt sub. When they are ready I will pop them in some mono tubs for fruiting.
Bod you can use straight verm if you have it. Only downside I ever found is the sub doesn't hold together as well as with coir. But if your not trying to pull it out of the shoebox you will be fine.

verm is only about 1.5x the price of coir where I am and is a great alternative to coir.
As far as fruiting I've only done 1 comparison and it was with ms so I can't say for sure.

It doesn't if you buy in bulk. I tried telling people this a long time ago, but I got 2 4 cubic foot bags of super fine verm for $27 each. The bags are huge and have lasted me 2 years (granted I don't grow consistently, but it's a LOT of verm).

Yeah I paid $29 for a 4 cubic foot bag a year ago.
But now its $18.41 on amazon with $16.49 shipping.
Still have like half the bag left.
Got some box's colonizing with my first clone. I'll post pic's once I get some mush growing.

Should I harvest?
Two of these shoe boxes are totally contaminated, and the third one is clean however only some of them are large where most of them are babies.

I harvest over the course of days. Just pluck what is ready, leave what is not until the veil tears.

The tub in the second pic is like 40% Trich. Pick those fruits and toss that ASAP

If its on a contaminated substrate you pick everything and toss. Moat of your shrooms should have been picked yesterday. They're so over mature the caps are bending backwards

picking a mushroom is like deciding when to cum. just do it when it feels right to you

i pick when they drop spores. so sometimes a flush gets picked in sections. clone for more consistent results(like even growth patterns)
