I have a recurring theme in my dreams, in a lot of them I am trying to solve a puzzle or complete a mission. It's always some really elaborate mission too, like being Super Mario in a game. Like I have to jump over the clouds and dodge the ghosts to find the key so I can fit it in the hole... shit like that.

Dreams are dope

In my experience, vivid dreams are usually your deepest fantasies or your deepest fears.

I do have a sort of reaccuring dream theme of meeting a beautiful woman then trying to have sex with her. Story of my life lol.

I dont have reoccuring dreams where the setting is the same, but i would guess your reoccuring dream has to do with your deepest fantasy: total freedom.

U wanna goof off and party, with no resposniblity. I would guess the dipolma represents a "legit pass" to do anything u wish and just have a good old time goofing off. Who doesnt like to goof off with no issues? Could also be u fantasize about going back to high shcool. I daydream about high school a lot. I loved the last two years of high school. Good times :bongload: :awesomenod:

As for my reoccuring dream about random beautiful women and me, i think the underlying fantasy is pretty obvious

I also have many dreams where Im fending off bears in the wild, sometime mountain lions or other animals, but usually bears
Aliens are a frequent antagonist as well. Zombies, bears, aliens, demons.

Its probably about once a week that a dream like that occurs, but it makes sense considering the tense violence I grew up around, Im hyper vigilant and it carries over into these dreams. These inhuman antagonists are a good representation of the senseless alienation one can feel, being unable to reason with mortality and having no choice but to deal with it as you would a bear stalking you, run or fight.

Still have more peaceful dreams than nightmares, but the themes vary widely, wheras there seems to be some consistency in the nightmares.

Intriuging.

The dream of being chased by something dangerous is very common. I bet most people have that dream at least once. It basically represents avoiding things u dont wanna deal with or are afraid to deal with (fears, people, stress, personal drama, intense trama, etc).

Sometimes Im running, sometimes fighting an endless battle, sometimes winning or losing an episode, sometimes hiding, often stalking

There have been times too, where I gave up the fight and embraced death

Its a very plainly dressed representation of Samsara

I always have violent death in my nightmares. About a week ago I had a nightmare that someone was slowly cutting my dog open while I was frozen and couldn't move. I love my dog more then some of my family members so it was a really traumatic nightmare. Not uncommon for me but that was still terrifying.

Have any of you had any experiences with lucid dreaming? Since your brain creates all the characters in the dreams you can talk with your subconscious.

Tis just a theory to suppose that all of perceptual phenomena are created by the brain. Scientists, or more specifically scientific materialists, alienate an individual and consciousness from the rest of nature, and propose that the individual experiences nature as something outside of themselves... however, if you break down the boundaries of the ego, or the processing thought unit which assumed itself to be separate in the first place, it becomes quite apparent that we are actually one with nature, and, therefore, so too is consciousness.

Dreams, particularly lucid, traveling dreams, might very well be experiences on another dimension or plane of reality which we, or almost everyone, are not entirely aware of in our waking consciousness.

I very frequently have dreams about zombies. All sorts of different scenarios. Everything from walking through a swamp at midnight avoiding rotting corpses who are trying to eat me, all the way to modifying gasoline tanker trucks into giant flamethrowers and torching entire towns that are infested with the undead. (I'm dead serious about this, I actually dreamed these things). Most recently I had one where I survived the initial outbreak and started an opium poppy farm and sold my product as medicine.

I also have recurring dreams about school. I am always either back in highschool, or taking adult education courses where I am getting easy work, but my brain can't process it and I end up failing the class miserably.

Recently I have been having dreams that I am inside the video game Battlefield 1. These dreams are actually pretty cool and I welcome them just as much as I do the zombie dreams. Maybe I play too much videogames.

When I was younger I had a recurring dream that my dog had a rainbow target for one of his eyes. And he started walking up the stairs on his hind legs and started throwing old suitcases from the closet at the top of the stairs at me

Last night I had a strange dream. It's that time of the month for me and I've been having some pretty painful cramps. Last night I was cramping so bad I had a dream that I was pregnant and my water broke and I was having contractions. I woke up scared as shit lmao

That's some cool and interesting dreaming you guys do.

I don't get recurring dreams, but certain dream places do recur, if that counts.

One is called "spain" and is often a combination of beautiful nature places I've seen. I'm usually trying to get here.

Another is called "Australia" and is a dusty brown land with driftwood houses stacked on top of eachother, in this place I usually have to perform some sort of complicated task, like in Crystal's example.

Third one is "camp", it's like a summer camp, and a camping, and there's a shop that's always different. Here a lot of repressed sexual stuff happens.
