Would tilling the surface of bulk substrate promote more flushes?

So I'm fairly new to all of this and, for my first try I bought a kit. I know all of your feelings on kits but, all in all I am very happy with this "test run" and I was able to get multiple prints/syringes from them. I have noticed that the mushies don't seem to grow back from areas that they originally grew from. I have done my best to not let spores fall but, some have. So my question is can you till up the top soil to encourage more flushes or would it be best to try to dunk the bulk?

Rehydrate and wait. You don't want to disturb the mycelium like that it would be disastrous.

-------------------- The biggest trip of my life was realizing all of the events and actions described in posts made by this account were never real and had never actually happened, but were instead the delusional ramblings of a severely mentally ill human being. I just had to move on for my own good. I love you all.

Roger that. I assumed it wasn't a good idea since I hadn't seen anyone else saying anything about scratching up the surface. Thanks guys looks like I'm going to take it out of the bag, dunk it, and, then place it in a shotgun tub.

People used to use a fork to tear up the sub to "promote growth" and I dont recall it ever actually working.... If anything you are just damaging the sub and then have to wait for the myc to recover at least.
Id just dunk and wait.

Just soak those bad boys for 24 hours, drain off the excess and wait. Won't take too long. I'm on my 4th flush on my latest grow doing that. Getting some monsters out of the later flushes.
