Lately, i've been wanting some mellowed out, light toned music. I listen to electronic/ambient/psychedelic music. Here's a few of songs that relate to what i'm talkin about:
Halcyon & ON & ON 2 - Orbital Xtal - Aphex Twin Maximum Electronica - Aphex Twin (not really mellow, but light toned)
I have a few more, but can't find em. Possibly some good music to come down off of shrooms from, or just to relax to after coming home from a long day. Thanks, peace

Um.
Zero 7. Air. Portishead. Nightmare on Wax. Massive Attack. Afro Celt Sound System all though they are the heaviest next to Portishead.

Zero7 "Simple Things" would top my list of downtempo/chill music. Another really good ones is Blue States "Nothing Changes", perfect for unwinding after a hard day.

Some great music mentioned all around! Check out cEvin Key's album "The Ghost of Each Room" as well.... very trippy, with influences from everyplace. Also M?m- "Yesterday was Dramatic- Today is OK" and "Finally We Are No One"

"in times of widespread chaos and confusion, it has been the duty of more advanced human beings - artists, scientists, clowns, and philosophers - to create order. In such times as ours however, when there is too much order, too much m management, too much programming and control, it becomes the duty of superior men and women and women to fling their favorite monkey wrenches into the machinery. To relieve the repression of the human spirit, they must sow doubt and disruption"

ENTHEOGENIC SOUND EXPLORERS ARE PERFECT FOR TRIPPING
THEY MADE 4 GREAT PSYCHEDELIC ALBUMS for DATABLOEM rec (and on iTunes)
THE CD IN WAVE FORMAT ARE BETTER FOR A SERIOUS TRIP
CHECK THEM OUT:

THE NEW ALBUM IS GREAT (here is the review):
Entheogenic Sound Explorers fourth and most consistent album so far, offering an hours worth of adventurous dubby, hypnotic ambient. With "Quarto" Stefano Contini & Piero Marchesi have made another step in pushing their composing and production skills to a higher level. The albums seems to tell a story, travelling through psychedelic landscapes with a sense of hope and being. Put on repeat and you will discover new paths with each listen.
PEACE & LIGHT
