So I took a walk in the park Last week looking for what kinds of what wild fungi there might be growing after all this wet and humid weather we've been having. Here's what looks like a white oyster and then there's another one I found and am curious about. Though before I say anything else, I want to make clear that after I photographed and observed them a little, they were discarded and NOT CONSUMED @ all.
Okay the suspected oysters were growing in an group on the end of a fallen log. Only on the end. Very white and soft and fleshy. I've grown oysters before and noticed some good similarities...though even though the scent wasn't unpleasant in anyway, it wasn't the scent I've noticed when birthing oyster cakes... That very pleasant almost velvety smell. I wanna say this was mostly an earthy mushroom smell. Some of the edges of the fruits had a slight translucent quality to it, not clear and still opaque. The gills looked like oysters. In that they were very straight gilled except for a couple of forked spots. Ruffled edges with small stems. Grew up into bowlish shaped structures growing vertically instead of horizontally. Anyway, last thing was that I left it on a piece of wood overnight, and it left a spore print that was white. Not brilliant white but pretty darn white. Okay, okay I'll shut up and get to the pics
The gills

Close up to the largest suspected oyster

The tops of all three

The gills on the mystery shroom.its a bracket mushie, with a hard texture, white but mmarbled with a beighish tan color on top which is most concentrated by the spot where the cap and stem meet (on top cap that is) and the color radiates out and fades away into all white, not a brilliant white either, I real dingy white. Somewhat of a rougher texture on top the cap too, the gills were not gills at all. It was entirely a surface of tiny holes, much like a turkey tail. The color I want to say, was indeed a darker tone than the cap, yet I can't be specific because I kind of forgot the bottom lol... So I'll shut up and post the flicks
The underneath...

The top

One last one of the oysters... Or better yet, the alleged oysters

Thanks for your time
Almost forgot! Here's the wood with the accidental print

Here's a tiny bit that made it to my desk

Thanks for the reply
Are you pretty confident they're oysters?
Anyone else want to give their impression as to what they might be?

Pleurotus ostreatus and some kind of uncommon polypore. Try posting that on mushroomobserver.org and iNaturalist.
