Are azures more vulnerable to contams?
    #24033165 - 01/23/17 12:54 PM (7 years, 7 days ago)

Hey everyone!

I'm going to try growing azures in a monotub. How their myc deals with contams in comparison with cubes? Would you advise any extra precautions?

Yep, just in case: I know they like it outdoors. Just want to experiment a bit with coldshocking them. I mean, what if a monotub could work.

Azurecens won't grow indoors. The best cultivators have tried everything and the best results I've seen are shit.

Contamination resistance isn't a parameter anyone cares about since your job is to not contaminate in the first place.

If you live in a temperate environment then go ahead an make an outdoor bed or some planter pots with woodchips and spawn azzies to them.  Sure it only pops once a year in the fall, but it's a lot of fun.

Woodlovers such as cyanescens and azurescens are really contaminant resistance but only once they're outside. You need some sterile spawn and then spawn to woodchips.

Do you have TWC access? Someone just did ps serbica and another did ps subaeruginosa.
