I made a thread once before asking what this was and nobody really had a clue. I'm looking for a seasoned mycologist to give their input on this, because another one of my colonizing cakes is experiencing this growth again. I'm pretty sure its not mycelium piss/metabolites although I guess I hope it is. Anyway, if someone that knows what I'm dealing with here would please advise, it would be very much appreciated. Not looking for speculations, however. Thanks again.

Looks like a species of slime mold.
Something related to Trichia varia perhaps.

That is supposed to be in the garbage can, Aspergillus can lead to Aspergilliosis or it may be Serpula lacrymans.

Either way it's 100% a slime mold.
Edit here's fuligo septica pics...

Notice the yellow fingers? Just like in yours.

I've seen such yellow mold on grain before. Didn't look good. Throw away and clean the area.
