Well, I bought a few more coins today. I don't like the S+H at apmex, but my local coin shop didn't have any silver left, so I bought online. All included, it came out to about $37/coin. I feel pretty good about the purchase. Anyone else jump in?

I've wanted to get into PM for years, but haven't been able to. (RE: college). Sure wish I was able to. I finally have some spare money and now looks like a prime buying opportunity. Where do others find PM? apmex looks popular. But what other options do I have.

I bought my first 10 oz of sliver when it was 33 after it dropped from 50. Then 10 more around 40. Last week I bought 50 more ounces.
I have a bit more money I can invest and might buy once more before it starts going up again.
I got a bunch of scholarship money recently, and I wont actually need it for school, since I get paid as a graduate student, so I am investing it for the duration of my degree or longer.

He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest -- a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and affection for a few persons nearest us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole nature in its beauty. Nobody is able to achieve this completely but striving for such achievement is, in itself, a part of the liberation and a foundation for inner security." Albert Einstein

my wife and i purchased 1100 pounds of silver at approximately nine dollars an ounce back in 2006 on the advice of a friend of mine who works as a commodities analyst... she knows many people in many areas of the investment industry... she has always felt that silver was the better play over gold from a percentage standpoint... she helps guide us on all our investments... her latest advice is to consider purchasing land in the pacific northwest area, she personally bought 45 acres in washington state...

Really tho I meant what do you do with the silver you buy. I'm new to any of this and so I'm stuck wondering wtf I do with silver if i buy it. I've seen a few different options including buying silver or gold that remains right in a bank and so never gets shipped, avoiding that cost.
Do you all get it shipped and then store it yourself or what? That's what I meant.

Welcome aboard
I guess the correct answer to that is: "if we told you, we'd have to kill you".
A typical size for a 100oz silver bar is 6.5x2.5x1.25 inch, and a stack of 10 gold bullion coins like krugerrands is about as large as a flashlight battery.

Five years later, silver is at $17.15/17.25 and I'm buying.
Anyone originally here want to talk about it?

Commodity supercycle peaked in 2011.
Oil, silver, coal, wheat. All that jazz.
But the stock market, that is on a linear path to the sky. It can never slow down, or go down again!!!
