Poponon speaks the truth! Also Organic Mushroom Farming by Tradd Cotter is an exceptional book for beginners. And It is mandatory that you buy Lets Grow Mushrooms by Marc Keith. It will save you hours of sifting through bad info.
My advice would be too skip the spores and culture work at first, it is rife with failure at the beginning and can be very discouraging. It is still very important to learn, but more importantly is getting a couple wins under your belt and building up your confidence and knowledge as a cultivator. Order some oyster spawn and use it to inoculate pasteurized straw. Very beginner friendly.

Well,
- What books do you have?
- Have you read through, or at least skimmed through, these books?
- What type of mushrooms are you interested in growing? And how much would you like to produce?

We're going to need some more information. The search bar will provide you with most things, but if you'd like a few steps in the right direction we're going to need to know which way you're headed.

I'm just getting started out too and second MycoFlora's suggestion to buy some oyster spawn and use it inoculate straw or similar. I made 3 small trays/tubs spawning to sawdust and shredded cardboard, and it's exciting to get results so quickly. It's a good way to get used to what conditions the mushrooms need as well.
Then you can take spore prints or clone your fruits, start getting into agar and becoming self sufficient for spawn.
