mycelium growth

Quick question. What if some jars are filled with mycelium and others are lagging behind. Should I still wait and birth them all at same time? All growth looks nice and healthy. I would just like to dunk them all at once.

Just wait Til they are all at the same Level. Got the same problem, two jars needed 4 more days, so I Just gave them their time.

You are good brother.
Let the stragglers catch up and the early ones may grow in vitro. Better to leave them a bit to long than to early.

as long as the jars have access to air, aka FAE, the mycelium can last a very long time. Months.
Best to wait till all are 100%.

Ya man.
Mine did a lot better with old fashioned sunlight, but the 6500k is correct. 5 cakes is good, more make it more humid creating a stronger microclimate.
Build a proper SGFC and you will only need to babysit it occasionally.

FYI. In most of my PF grows I had 1 or 2 growing 1 inch fruits in the jar while 1 or 2 lagged behind with a patch of uncolonized area. Once I had to birth 3 and wait for the other 3 for an extra week as the fruits were pushing through the verm. You want to be sure the centers of your cakes are colonized too so birthing late is preferable to birthing early.
I know the convenience of dunking all at once is what you are looking at. I guess you just have to judge it yourself. I let some invitro's go for a while but sometimes they don't survive the birth and dunk when they get big so I remove them. I still get great yields. They love company too, the more the merrier and the microclimate is better established. Best if they all go in at once but they will be ok if you need to stagger the births.

If they go invitro it isn't a big deal unless you don't have tapered jars. If you get invitros just let em grow while the others consolidate, then birth all at once. If you damage an invitro just set it aside to dry and no big deal, it can wait for its friends to join.
You aren't going to kill the cake if it stays in the jar a little long. You ARE going to kill a cake if it is birthed too early. Best to wait, even though it is hard, cause you want that cake to be white right through the center. The only way you can ensure this is to wait brother.
I know you don't want to f@ck this up and it's why you are stressed right now but you are doing ok, just be patient. I can't shake the anxiety either sometimes.
