Uh huh.

Could be something more than a trash can is what I'm saying and you understand that lol, we all know it's a trash can right now

Completely understandable what I'm saying...

Maybe you're talking about the archives for the forums themselves like the mushroom cultivation archives

https://www.shroomery.org/forums/postlist.php/Board/58
This stuff?

The forums are protected by being able to search by date. And ask questions.

The archives are a trash can, that doesn't get emptied

That can easily change, since the TCS (I guess = you & cron) are allowed to change the main page.

As azur pointed out, who uses the main page except maybe people their first time. Way more accessible/impactful to update the archives, a part of mush cult..

Like some peoples grows logs of the process are more valuable in an understanding that just a link-o-rama. Can't accept it will never be updated because that's d-u-m-b considering how long people have said change the main page and now it's happening...

I spent a lot of time on this website before I ever found the forums. That little button near the search bar for switching between searching the site and searching the forums is rather subtle/small.

maybe I'm a tard but I'm likely not alone there.

if anyone wants to be a part of what goes on the face of the site feel free to write up a contribution and I can then put it where it's appropriate. I expect anyone willing to perform this task will be coming up with worthy and precise information. Hopefully bad info can be weeded out in the same collective way. Please point anything fishy out you see as well.

I think it should be ever evolving, staying up to date, and getting fined tuned until it's a masterpiece that would be worth linking people to here in the forums.

It also shouldn't be dominated by cronicr and me. Even if we try to eliminate bias it's our writing styles even showing through. We also all have differing opinions but there's way too many roads that lead to the same place so I think variety is something that will strengthen these sections.

All my write ups are linked in my signature. Not quite sure if they're appropriate but I'll let you guys be the judge of that.
I know the bottom watering one could be beefed up a lot more. There's a link to violets more detailed bottom watering write up in it though.

Feel free to steal anything and beef up if you want

Is there some sort of checklist by chance?
I'd be happy to help out and send you something to revise.

You guys have done quite a lot of work so I'm just not sure where to jump in exactly.

I find the glossary to be hard to read.  If I was to put some time in to making it easier to read, would I do it all in a message to you bod? Or should I start a journal, lay it all out and you can just copy and paste it in to the glossary.

I'm talking about visually defining the word better and spacing out each one better.  Any one that has an more elaborate definition, to me put in better paragraph form.
