That's also a good example of what I meant before. Im not looking for teks but the short simple explanations for each section.
Like what's poo, coir, straw, etc.. what does substrate mean. When does it get pasteurization or is sterilization ok. People will want to to put in bias. Im looking for objective truths
I don't want to see opinions up there just what things are and then the relative threads will be linked.
Obviously im particularly partial to use of coir. Others love manure. If you can write something short Sweet and objective about the things listed in the contents system for cultivation on the main page then give it a shot and we can all collectively make it a prestigious part of the site
I have been working on a cultivation overview in my journal for a while. It's not finished yet but if I focus on it I could have it wrapped up in a week maybe. Covers the different aspects of cultivation and relates it to the mushroom life cycle.

All of the pics in my PFTek>Monotub threads I removed since I went legit- would you still like me to post? Really the only thing I would really like to add to the discussion is (as per GreenRabbit's suggestion) the use of a cheese grater on the cakes made a big difference for me. I definitely recommend it for anyone looking to do PFTek>Monotub.

Don't worry about it. 95% of the people in cult act like the math class dork. We all thought it was funny
Edit: hey bod I checked that link. It this tek replacing the old one? My only concern is that it lacks the pictures that the old one had Remembering back to when I was first doing PF TEK the little illustrations helped me more than the words.

I can already see backlash coming from using human examples for breeding. Maybe if that was changed to something like "A yellow lab and a Chihuahua can have puppies, or a tabby and a calico house cat can have kittens" some people would shit their pants a little less.
Thanks for all the work you're putting into this, for free, on your own time. It's starting to look really awesome.

Hey Asante can we get that thread to discuss changes. It would be nice to have all contributors/editors on the same page with tagging things as dated or up to date and whatnot

I just figured you'd been offered the title and turned it down at this point.
The bar sure is higher than it used to be. Back in old posts you've got TC's with under 2k posts

The site is a dinosaur still largely. I think they're trying to change it. Though if they cared enough about mushrooms and new people having an easier experience growing mushrooms there's like 10 people that could be TC tomorrow that would make noobs searching more efficient. Obviously with things like this main page editing stuff the site is moving in the right direction.
All i can do is keep doing my best at doing my thing. I am in love with cubensis and all mushrooms so ill keep helping people grow them
This place is my home too, I try to be a shroomery ambassador. I'm like the vinsue of MC I doubt anyone has given out as many ratings to new members as the both of us have

This site is ancient. Everything about it is. I don't really care, reminds me of the 2000's where every site was just simple (and ugly)
