Cake vs Bulk shroom quality
    #24032511 - 01/23/17 05:09 AM (7 years, 1 month ago)

Hey Gang, with the gourmet mushrooms I am growing I notice a huge difference in the quality of the shroom based on how I grow it (limited experience). Would this be the case with cubes as well? Would a cube on bulk be of better quality then a cake cube (taste, potency, size) ?

The skill of the cultivator is the most important factor, IMHO.  The ability to find a strong culture, use a growing process that optimizes it and then grow them.  I've found that the X-factor in terms of size and potency (no cubes taste great) is finding a good clone and then growing it clean.  Whether it's in cakes, bottles or bulk, big, strong mushrooms can be grown.
