    #24032425 - 01/23/17 02:53 AM (7 years, 7 days ago)

Hi all!! im starting to grow mushrooms and finishing the incubation process, i really would like to have your opinions and advice, its my first time growing.

in the second picture i have a Weight above the plastic jar because if i remove it the jar start to float on the water and the fish heater must be under water or it would be damaged.

temperature inside the plastic jar is 80 farenheit also i open the lid of the plastic jar two times a day and manually fan so it get some air exchange.

i want to know what do you think? im doing the thing right?

should i put a foil in the casing and the put it direct on the water so it get more warm or is it ok inside the plastic jar??

thankss folks for your advice

Hi
During incubation, you would like to have some holes in the incubation container“s lid, instead of fanning. This holes may be covered with polifill, or micropore tape or something else.
Sometimes i just poke small holes with seringe nedlle and left them uncovered in a cean part of the room.

You fan when it is fruiting time. Not during incubation. Increases the risk of contamination.
