First PF tec ... green mold
    #24032215 - 01/22/17 11:34 PM (7 years, 1 month ago)

Hey guys,

First PF tec mycelium doing well, except for one jar. Of the four jars, one has just developed a green mold spot, but before I toss it, I was wondering what would it end up doing if I were to allow it to fruit (separately from the others of course)?  Will it end up toxic or ? Just curious.

Thanks.

It won't fruit. The mold will consume the jar. There's only on solution to contamination and that is disposal.

If you have a back yard you could open the jar there(away from other cakes) and burry it in the dirt. Never had sucsess growing fruits with that tecnic but a friend of mine did. Worst case you are fertilizing the yard..
