Interesting documentaries/movies?
    #24031354 - 01/22/17 05:59 PM (7 years, 8 days ago)

I'm looking for interesting things to watch all the time but its hard to find things I can really get in to. I like hidden knowledge/ conspiracy type documentaries and would like to know some good ones. I want a long list if possible guys. Thanks!

Here are some I've enjoyed. Me posting these isn't an endorsement of ideas within them though, but I find them interesting.

Secrets in Plain Sight -

This one is a long series, but if you can power through all 3 and a half hours you might find it pretty interesting. It's not a high budget thing, and kind of plays more like a powerpoint slide show, but the ideas within are interesting ones. I like way it presents the idea of multiple layers of reality codependent on each other through geometry and symbolism.

Quest for a Lost Civilization -

This one is by Graham Hancock. It's a really well made documentary. I'd watch all two and a half hours at once personally. I don't necessarily know if his theories about human civilization are correct, however he makes a entertaining case for his theory and it makes for an epic story of human history. I watched this on LSD and the final moments of the documentary had me tearing up when he was on the island with the Moai statues, got all kinds of spine shivers at the end of watching this one (the implication is that symbolism in ancient architecture is pointing to a message that has gone over our heads, and that there was a culture that got wiped out 12,500 years ago when it lost touch with nature).

I'll post more later possibly. It's been some years since I've watched stuff like this, but I can't stand much of it. I don't necessarily buy these theories, but I can respect a well made series if it can suck me in and keep me there while watching it. Getting into the delusional mindset is key sometimes.
