Either way, biggest protest in US history, no violence, and it was for a positive message. Whats to complain about other than the fact it dwarfed the inauguration? Meh
Trump got caught doing locker room talk that every male I know has engaged in many times, women know this fact and still voted for him.
BTW, what was the message?
lol you think that was locker room talk? are your friends sex offenders?

qman, I dont think i've seen you not give Trump a free pass but i'm open to hearing your disagreements with him.

yeh because only real tough alphas brag about sexual assault!
the fact that you seem to think the issue is about the presence of "sexually explicit" things rather than sexual assault is also very telling.
"are your friends sex offenders"
Nope, why is it so difficult to see the distinction between casual jokes and criminal sexual assaults?
"hearing your disagreements with him"
The abortion issue for sure, I also hate Jeffery Sessions and I wasn't thrilled with his statements on H-IB visas. I'm sure there's plenty more.

Really, who is normalizing rape in the US? We are all taught that sexual abuse is not only morally wrong, but also highly illegal in the US.
Even convicted rapists are demonized in prison by other hardened criminals, there's nothing acceptable about rape in US culture.
We're taught that racism and murder is bad, I'm sure those dont exist either.
Didn't anyone say rape doesn't exist in the US? That's not the definition of "rape culture". Why don't you study what "rape culture" truly means and rethink what you just posted.

Surely, qman, the message is that they oppose everything Trump stands for.
What do "immigrants, Muslims, LGBTQIA, native people, Black and Brown people have to do with woman's issue? NOTHING.
"oppose everything Trump stands for"
So you're admitting it's a anti-Trump movement and is fraudulently calling itself a "woman's movement"?

It is absolutely a woman's movement. Sure Clintonite forces might bolster it but if they were powerful enough to orchestrate this kind of global protest then they would have won the election lol.
Trumps and Republicans policies on various womens issues will harm women, Trumps behaviour about women has shown him to be a misogynist. What you call locker room talk is bragging about sexual assault and i'm sure he, Bill Clinton and their ilk do much worse. Women are protesting that. What don't you understand?
For example: Trump just signed an antiabortion executive order which affects womens rights over large swathes of the globe - 27 million women of all colours. That is why intersectionality and solidarity is important - which is why you've seen huge protests all over the world!!!

Women should be more responsible with their reproductive abilities. Abortion should really only be available in the most dire of situations, it shouldnt be avilable so you can be the biggest whore imaginable and not worry about having a kids.

You think abortion is just a license for being a whore? embarrassing
What makes you qualified to make that choice for US women and women from around the world? Don't you see that women are protesting a male dominated system legislating on issues that affect women!?

Whats wrong with changing the tax situation on tampons? They are taxed as a luxury not a necessity like razors.
admittedly the speakers (esp madonna) come across as nutjobs but the argument about tax is valid.

Obama had eight years to do something about taxes on tampons. What dose tampon tax have to do with Trump in his first day in office is all I'm saying.

such a gross caricature of what abortion is in society.
so you would rather impose an unwanted child on a parent(s) who are incapable of providing for that child and then what? Contraception fails and women already take the brunt of that struggle in taking responsibility of contraception, when it fails what then?
Shall I assume you didn't have sex until you were fully financially and psychologically secure enough to provide for children and a family?
Can you find some token examples of whores who don't give a fuck? Sure, but to brand the issue as whores who want to kill their babies is a gross misrepresentation and honestly should embarrass you. Maybe talk to women in your life?

Do you think women of America are demanding that day one Trump changes this?
They are highlighting all the issues that are systematically and disproportionately affecting women in a way that does not represent their voice. Trump only shows these kind of inequalities will deepen and that is reasonable to protest.

"intersectionality"
So this movement includes all females, Muslims, gays, lesbians, illegal immigrants, Muslims, natives, brown and black people. Do you see a trend? It's everyone expect straight white males!!!
Like always, it's another anti-straight white male movement, it's hardly surprising someone like yourself endorses this nonsense.
"What don't you understand?"
Why you're afraid to call this movement what it is, anti-Trump straight white male March.

I dont think you understand what abortion entails. They dont adhere to the first term policy in practice and regularly do near terms, to the tune of 40 baby murders a week. The infants are often alive when theyre extracted and while theyre crying the doctor will typically shove a spike into their fontanelle or clip its spinal cord with a pair of shears to murder it. Then they later chop it up and offer the parts up wholesale to the medical community. Its absolutely disgusting and anyone who supports that process is abhorrent and less then human.

Who cares about sperm? Who cares about something that isn't even aware of its own existence?

Who said there were no men in these marches? firstly, it is not anti-straight white male in any way . secondly, I dont think white straight males are having a problem with underepresentation right now or ever
reach a bit further and you might be able to grasp those straws.

A near term baby is fully cognizant. They regularly kill near term babies. Your argument is idiotic and poorly thought out.

I dont believe your 'baby-parts sold wholesale' nonsense without evidence.
And your stats mean nothing without sources.
Do you hear female perspectives on this?
Sure we can probably find agreement that very late abortions are too far but how much do late abortions really represent the issue? I imagine a lot of those cases are, as you say - in the more dire situations.
Just accept that whatever you think about abortion, whatever I think about abortion, there are millions of women who are not listened to and that is the point, that is why millions of women are protesting and men are protesting in soldarity.
Why do you seem to think women think of abortions so flippantly?
