Few questions: bluing, pin formation, and misting.

My new set of cakes start to dark blue (minimally) in certain areas around the cake towards the end of the flush. I don't see what could be harming them, so Q: Could this be good sign of potency? Or is there an issue(which I can't isolate)?
Cakes seemed to keep pinning. Even now, one is at the end of it's flush, yet still looks like it has small/med and younger fruiting bodies. Q: Is this normal. Q: Assuming they don't(which I presume) mature at the same rate, should I leave them on?A
During the first week following birth, my mists were extremely easy and perfect. Perfect bead layout followed every time. Recently, when I mist, beads are not forming. It seems to be "pooling" or adhering tot he cake as a film of water. It's just not nearly as easy to get those beads. Q. Any idea as to the issue? And what can I do to fix it?
Thank you for all of your help.

All of this is normal and pretty much fine. Bluing is often related to the cakes drying out. A little bluing is nothing to worry about. Don't worry about not having cleanly delineated flushes - let the pins grow and pick them as needed.

My tub is pretty darn humid. I mist 3x-4x a day. and I have 4inch of perlite in 66qt tub, currently 4 cakes. I don't think drying would be the issue.. but what do you think?

Damn, wait. I think i realize what you meant. Drying out as in the cake lost all it's water? Maybe should've dunked longer?

Reading your post, I get the feeling that you are obsessing over your grow and over-thinking some of the tiny details. We all do that from time to time. It's good because it means that you are attentive toward your project.
By "drying out" I just meant it may have gotten a bit drier than it wanted to be at some point. Once that happens, the bluing will generally remain even if conditions change. It's really not a big deal, especially if the bluing is minimal. Post pics if you are concerned, but it sounds like you are doing fine.
