Did anything induce it? I don't think I have ever had what I would consider a panic attack but I do get waves of anxiety sometimes.
My ex used to get panic attacks though especially if she smoked even a bit of cannabis sometimes.
Diet and exercise both could most likely help depending on what is causing it.
Anyways I hope you are feeling better!

Pretty sure it was induced by a nightmare which was in turn triggered by nausea and sleeping on my stomach not being able to breathe well. You can be sure I'm not sleeping anymore tonight. And yes, I can't smoke weed either.

Haven't heard it called that in years.
The fucking dam, hell yeah.
Speaking of dams, holy shit remember Van Damme, that dude was such a boss in Bloodsport.

Meditation could be a good immediate fix if you are up for it. Some nice relaxing tea could also help.

I've never had a panic attack.
For the purpose of scientific research, have you ever done any benzodiazepines for more than a few days at a time? I know lots of people who have developed anxiety and panic attacks from prolonged diazepam and alprazolam use

Its interesting to think of the feeling of mortal panic I had during a dangerous activity years ago, just appearing out of the blue.
The mind is a strange thing, someone can kick down doors and wash their arms in blood to the elbows, while someone else panics just laying in bed or because of a bad day in the office. Could be the same person.

I get a lot of anxiety, stress, anger, sadness, etc, but real panic has been very rare.

Ive never had real panic attacks other than a quick burst of impending doom after talking a huge dab, but i think you just need to keep in consideration that you're going to die and that life on earth is pretty amazing so you better force yourself into the state of mind that will let you get through it (life) un-phased by scary and unsettling shit so you can enjoy most of it

Yeah Im faced with fairly overwhelming premonitions of mortality on a daily basis, if I let those feelings get the better of me I couldnt enjoy anything.
Life is good, bluster through the tragedy.
"In times of youth, drinking is better. With the joyful, linking is better. The world is a mere temporal inn; With the shipwrecked, sinking is better."
