I was wondering if anyone has had success cloning cube tissue straight into grain jar? I really need to get into agar but was wondering if this could work to create a master jar? Thanks again

I used to do it all the time and I got a dirty one every now and then. I just used an inch of grain in a half pint and g2g to a master. The trick is to clone big mushrooms since theyre easier to rip apart and the insides are cleaner than the small ones. Its not a great method though because sometimes the clone tissue contaminates when it rots in the jar and theres no way to remove it. Id recommend getting into agar though as you can do a lot more with it. Plus its fun

You can but expect like 25% failure at least especially if you're not well versed in tissue culture work

Make agar from grain water. Or brf. Or malt extract.
