No idea but I went back packing up in the Olympic peninsula as a kid as part of a camp.
It was incredible! Such a majestically beautiful area. I imagine at least some mushrooms grow there.
I hope to backpack there again one day and bring a bong and a bunch of herb
-------------------- Don't worry about me, I've got all that I need. And I'm singing my song to the sky You know how it feels, With the breeze of the sun in your eyes. Not minding that time's passing by I've got all and more, My smile, just as before. Is all that I carry with me I talk to myself, I need nobody else. I'm lost and I'm mine, yes I'm free

You are truly very blessed man that is a very special place on this earth. I lived in that area for a while as well. Just on a side note beach #3 is freakin sweet and if your near sequim check out the Bogachiel trail man unbelievable.
Anyway to answer your question the greatest tool I could give you is this website honestly. Use the search function, research the many wonderful types of actives we have here in Washington and their respective habitats. Finding an active in the actual Olympic Rain forest would be very challenging I think but there's lots of moisture and disturbed urban environments to hunt in. And I've heard if you go just a bit south to some beaches there are Azures. You've got lots of time before next season so research the kinds of places Cyans like to hide and beaches in your area for Azures. Lots of options man good luck
