Psilocybe Galindoi question

Hi, I just prepped 8 quarts of rye berries to inoculate with psilocybe Galindoi. I used info found here at shroomery to prep as usual with addition of soaking in coffee and gypsum. So I got full syringe from sponsor and it is loaded with lots of visible spores. How many cc per quart should I use? I would like to use minimal to save some for future projects. Also should I shake at 30% or leave? I also got Tampanesis germining from a few days ago, should these be shaken at all? I really hope to fruit both species and was wondering if 6-8 weeks was sufficient time for stones and then casing and fruiting? Thanks again to great community here, and sharing so much experience and knowledge.

Put spores on agar. Put agar into jar
Otherwise put a few drops of spores in your jar and pray
I wouldn't shake if you're going for stones.

Just few drops into quarts, would you say like 1/2 cc? It sounds like agar is unavoidable as you progress through this hobby? I'm gonna try agar soon but I've been intimidated to take the leap.

Read the first few threads there.
Yep just a few drops. I would try to use less than 1cc

Wow thanks for the link. All the stuff I gotta learn in one spot. Thanks, also I read Roger rabbit say he felt stone producers have "cleaner" trip, anyone else feel a difference?

I am going both directions: i put some spores on an agar plate (i bought a print) and inoculated MANY jars, 20 quarts plus a half pint to do a water suspension expansion. Also 10 of the quarts in glass with synthetic filters and 10 in pp5 containers to compare. All the glass jars were inoculated with just a few drops, 8 of 10 pp5 were treated the same way. 2 I used a full cc on with 2 inoculation points on opposite sides of the jar.
I suspect that the jars with just a few drops will start markedly slower than the two with more spores..... But there will be more competition between the various strains in the jars with more inoculate . I don't know if this would help or hurt (or not affect) stone production .

Everyone feels a difference in cubes vs. stones. It's a different species.
-------------------- But if you're in a hurry, and really got to go If you're in a hurry, might have to find out slow That it's one thing to try and another to fly You get there quicker just a step at a time It's one thing to bark, another to bite The show ain't over till you pack up at night

Thanks good to know it produces different type of experience. I am looking forward to experimenting with new species. Thanks again
