What's the most fucked up movie you've ever seen? The type of movie that sits with you for awhile.
For me I would say...
Bully (2001) The Human Centipede Requiem For a Dream Henry: Portrait Of A Serial Killer
I hear Gummo is super fucked up...I might watch that one next.

Eraserhead
It's more of a "what the goddamn fuck am I watching" type of movie.

I've heard about Gummo being a pretty fucked up movie too.
Kids (or Kidz?) is another fucked up movie that comes to mind. It's the type of film that makes you hate the world more.

Kids is by the same director as Gummo. I didn't think either film was particularly disturbing; Gummo was just weird (I guess in the same vein as Eraserhead), and Kids was just a bunch of young people making some bad choices (but choices nonetheless- it's hard for me to be disturbed by something someone does to themselves).
To me, the disturbing movies tend to be the very heart wrenching ones that manipulate your emotions and leave you feeling gutted or empty inside at the end. 'Dancer in the Dark' is a movie that leaves me feeling emotionally drained.

The Serbian film is brutal.
Pink Flamingos. I can barely watch this movie, less about it's content and more about the way it's filmed

I once rented "Hansel and Gredel" from the Redbox thinking it was the remake with that assasian actor from The Avengers. I was very wrong.
Turned out to be a VERY fucked up movie.
I couldnt watch it half way, cause it got too fucked up.
Another milder one was Momento, which i really enjoy as a piece of art.
The Cube series were pretty fucked as well as the off-teh-wall Wrong Turn series. Definitely twisted and sick.

Yeah these 2 films always seem to pop up when this topic comes up. Never seen either.
Irréversible is a Gasper Noe film, correct?
Speaking of, Enter the Void may be not in the same league as the two films mentioned above -- in fact maybe it's not even close, but I still found it to be one of the more dark & disturbing films I've ever seen.
Mind you I saw it on a heavy, heavy dose of mushrooms. But damn, the death scene early on in that bar/club bathroom, the extremely graphic car wreck scene where their parents get obliterated (that they felt the need to show not just once, but twice), and the heavy, heavy incest insinuations...as trippy and mesmerizing as that film is, it's still really a horrible movie (to me anyway) to see through the lens of a psychedelic trip. I mean I came out of that shit feeling sick. And really, really depressed.
So yeah. Enter the Void would get a vote from me.

Serbian Film Frontier(s) August Underground, I don't recommend anyone watch this. High Tension Man Behind The Sun - About Japanese Squadron 731 in WWII, shits brutal man, and true. Martyrs - The original one, not the shitty remake.
