thats one of my minis. where did you dig that picture up from??? its like 2 years old and not in a tek or anything.
OP, there is no such thing as a 50/50 casing. You need to do some more reading.

OP do you have a pet store nearby? Like from a mom and pop like place to a Petco? Usually way cheaper to go that route. I pick up 3 1 lb bricks for $11 from petco.
As said before that will work fine, just trying to save ya a few bucks.

it was on a youtube video, search "Bulk Spawning: Mixing a Mini-Monotub"i just realised its your video! im trying to do what you were doing in that video, is there a tek or somthing you can send me to to help me with doing the mini monotub
and for casing would i use 2 handfuls of coir, 2 handfuls of verm, and 2 handfuls of gypsum? mixed into a bucket
and i would go get everything i need at the stores, but under my circumstances i cannot leave my home(and no not a minor)

There's no 50/50 Tek. 650 grams coir, 2 quarts vermiculite, 4-5 quarts water, and 1 cup of gypsum. Not 50/50 at all.
Damion needs to change his name, us noobs gets confused easily.

It's really not confusing if you follow what his tek says. If the title and the instructions cause that much of a mental conflict for you then maybe this is not the thing for you.
The op was referring to a casing anyways not a bulk substrate mixture.
My bricks of coir also only weigh a pound so I don't where you get 650 from. Also I have a feeling it has more to do with volume than weight.
If you follow his tek and have a sterile procedure you most likely will succeed ime.
