Do these seriously look bad? It's been the strongest growth I've had yet, and even though I'm pretty sure my previous results where bacterial due to too much LI and soft wheat, I never got mold and I've been getting pretty good flushes.

Some of them have coffee grains in them, but they are colonizing (experiment based on old tek).

A lot of the wbs have sunflower seeds, some I didn't bother removing, since I know it's still fine. Unfortunately, the wbs I got also had peanuts, I started removing them after 2 batches, but even then they are colonizing, albeit slowly.

PS: Foohman's tek with added coffee to boil water, clean agar tiger drops to master jars then g2g.

Bigger yields would be great. Tried search can you post a link please? Really interested in going bulk but nothing overly complicated due to inexperience. So much information here it gets a bit overwhelming.

Man, these are REALLY fattening up. The caps started to open 3 days ago and they were tiny. Note to self to find the pic of them from the other day to compare to.

Question. Is the right side ever gonna grow? Are the left large ones taking up all the energy or something? I'm likely gonna harvest those in the morning. I see some purple spore spots but they're not all dropping spores so no big deal.

Also if you look close, there's mushrooms growing off the large caps and stipes etc lol.

Here is a couple more pics from my bags

Cased bag performed much better than uncased

Again over 100% BE for 1 qt of spawn, but this one had almost 100 more grams than my uncased
bag:rockon:

I have this same clone in a tub that's about to explode! Keep a look out for another one of
my contest giveaways in the coming weeks. Variety is PE6

Next time dunk and then roll those cakes in vermiculite.

But what you can change right now is the fruiting chamber, build a proper one- get that hose out of there.

Clear tote, 1/4" holes in a 2" x 2" grid pattern on all 6 sides. Raise it up on the corners on jars or soup cans.

Also, that big sheet of foil is no bueno. Cut out squares or circles to put under the cakes, or use jar lids.

The cakes look good!

First pins on some bacterial spawn. Making some agar for some clones.

Not me personally but I have a couple good friends that I trust who tell me they are good.
I'm always trying to give my friends mushrooms

I actually don't trip very much anymore, I usually trade for oil and herb and just keep a
little for the special occasions and my friends:mushroom2:

gotta sift through the sea of mush knowledge like the rest of us did, also the USFSE link is a good guide on how to actually use the search bar to refine your results.

Kept this plate around after transferring from it a while ago.  Took forever to pin and I pretty much forgot about it until today.

Culture is cloned from this cluster.

I wonder if those are different strains pinning on the agar... I see yellowy pins, bluish knots, and then those dark caps... they all look so different.
