Early stages of mycelial growth or mold?

Hi all I'm new to this forum and also mushroom growing in general. I have four jars that all look OK besides one, it got white extremely quickly and doesn't appear to look like the other jars. I'm curious if the mycellium spread quicker in this jar or if it's just contaminated with some sort of white molds (cobweb ect). Would like to hear your expert opinions .

I don't know if it's the photo quality but that just looks wet instead of white to me.

So what I'm seeing is condensation? It looks like there is solid white in the jar. Could it possibly be that the brf is over saturated and if so how is that going to effect my grow?

Just curious, what is your intention with this jar? It looks as if you used brf/verm and a dry verm layer like a cake. How are you going to get it out of that jar without breaking it or chopping it up?

It also appears that the white color you are seeing is mostly brf. It seems is just wet and pushed up against the glass. I've had this happen quite often and it's usually not a big deal. It generally happens when you grind up your own rice rather than buying brf already prepared. The white color lower on the jars seem to be water stains from boiling/pressure cooking. It is normal and should not affect anything.

This shit is way too wet. It most definitely will affect shit. It'll either stall it out, or stress the myc badly, hindering yield and potentially opening it up to molds during fruiting. Either way something happened here. Either water got in during the PC cycle, or they were way too wet to begin with.

I guess the photo isn't very definitive. Yes, a substrate that is too soaked would be pretty detrimental. I was saying the water stains from pc/boiling wouldn't be too harmful, and would show much more if you live in a small town or have hard water. However, the picture doesn't show enough detail of what he calls growth and it doesn't appear he followed the tek to the T. I'm not saying the jars are good, I can't be the judge of that. Shit, I've been doing this a couple years now and I'm still a newbie because I just started trying to advance. I guess I just pointed out the things I noticed. Let MS and the other TC's handle it though, they are your best bet. Post update photos as things change too.

Just to clarify, I was speaking of the hard water stains on the outside of the glass. I guess that could be confusing, considering the way I worded it. Hard water or well water leaves quite the mark after steaming/PC. Shit, even my dishes have to be rinsed or wiped off when they come out of the dishwasher. A clear class looks like it had milk sitting in it, then dumped and put back in the cabinet if I don't dry it or rinse it. That was just my observation though, my eyes are not at good as the ones used to seeing this kind of stuff.

This is a good picture. I think it's the brown rice and flour not mixed up and it chucked up together. I've seen this before with my jars when I did cakes. I'm sure you double foiled the lids and everything else. The reason I say that is because when I do my jars I use a pinch of powder gypsum and it can look like your jars and it never causes a problem. But you can always open it up and have a look at it, just to find out. I could be wrong all the way around; so don't take my info as golden info.
