Does anyone think that the Mexican varieties have more pink color? Or is the pink tint seen in the US as well?
I see the pink ones. It may be due to ph I'm guessing...

I'd tincture that.
-------------------- "Shrub, 30-90 cm. Leaves 2.5-) 4-9 cm, sessile or amplexicaul, broadly ovate to ovate-oblong, obtuse or rounded to subapiculate or subacute, when crushed not smelling of goats." "The initial quake was a 6.6 but fairly shallow. I felt it as a prolonged up and down vibration followed by a jolt forward and then to the left, like square dancing."

considering the fact that it's sorta edible and there's possibility that it may cause some sort of hallucinations, i did chew on 5 of those about a foot tall, and it was sorta crunchy like a watermelon i guess. the taste got worse the more i chewed on it.. alright..so 30 mins later i was back on my couch, pretty tired, and it actually did get me drowsy and had a tingling sensation in my leg, hand and around my chest all on the left side of my body. and that was pretty much it..

They grow all over the place in the PNW. Once you start seeing them, you will see them everywhere. I've never seen pink ones though- usually, they are pure white, but I've seen them with a slight bluish or brownish tinge before.
