Cool. Understood. Yea, that shit can get intense. I usually end up laying on the floor watching kaleidoscopes on the back of my eyelids; that's what I go for, but I can understand how someone could have a difficult time. I wouldn't want to do it if I had to be even the least bit social. I usually do it alone.

Edibles are my favorite but when they go wrong, they go wrong. I'd rather have a bad trip on a high dose of mushrooms than loose myself on weed edibles. Not that you don't get mind fuck while tripping but the mind fuck from oral cannabis can cause some really paranoid delusions in comparison.

I need to work towards a similiar habit. I tend to smoke daily and I still get pretty blazed but it's nowhere near as intense which is good and bad.
Thankfully I don't get much cannabis anxiety/ paranoia these days especially with a tolerance but after a long break it happens much easier.
Awhile back I went on a week or 2 long vacation. When I came home I dabbed a bit at a friends apartment and got retarded
The next day I drove home and proceeded to take 5-10 dabs throughout the evening after taking like 150-200 mg of harmine/ harmaline.
I got so high I felt like a tweaker I was having faint OEV's such as sparkly/ shimmering air and feeling super stimulated. Usually cannabis interferes with meditation for me but this evening I actually managed to meditate while baked out my gourd. Anyways I had a interesting experience, I could see my heart beating with my eyes closed as I meditated and could watch the blood flow throughout my body with each beat...
It was one of the more intense cannabis experiences I have had. One day after a nice brake I want to give it another go.
Sadly harmalas and kratom are probably not a safe mix so until I take a kratom break no harmine/ harmaline for me
-------------------- Don't worry about me, I've got all that I need. And I'm singing my song to the sky You know how it feels, With the breeze of the sun in your eyes. Not minding that time's passing by I've got all and more, My smile, just as before. Is all that I carry with me I talk to myself, I need nobody else. I'm lost and I'm mine, yes I'm free

Gr33nTree73,
Indeed, it's definitely a different type of anxiety. My worst experience was on mushrooms, but it was caused by someone sober messing with me and causing a mind loop. Without someone messing with you, a bad mushroom trip can still be enlightening, though it may be a bit scary at times.
Anxiety from edibles, by contrast, can just pop up and stay there, and is quite delusional as you said (aka hearing an otherwise normal noise outside and assuming someone or something is lurking and listening haha).
When I eat MJ edibles by myself, I usually take a couple shots of Jaegermeister to relax, lay back with my eyes closed and let it rip! I just go into it with the intention of doing nothing but watching the patterns on the back of my eyelids and deep breathing my way through the moments of chest knots, which do happen from time to time.
As a matter of fact, this is quite interesting. I used to dread anxiety until I had a job where I had to publicly speak several times a month. After about 6 months (a total of a few dozen public speaking appearances), I noticed that the knots in my chest are nothing more than adrenaline (fight-or flight instinct basically), and there is nothing I can do to stop it, but they don't actually do any harm. So I eventually reached a point where I welcomed that feeling, because if I could control it I could actually speak better, similar to how if you can control adrenaline while playing sports you can actually play better (athletes call it being "in the zone").
It will always be a weird and alien feeling, however.

musiclover420,
I hear ya. I've never actually dabbed, but I'd like to try it. I've had times when I smoked daily for a while, but I now much prefer taking breaks between each time. It allows the MJ to give me a similar feeling to those first few times, and that feeling is what made me love it to begin with.

That heartbeat/bloodflow visual sounds awesome too! I meditate often, but I have never been able to meditate on MJ. My mind moves around too much, which defeats the purpose. I've always thought that it would be awesome to successfully meditate on MJ, just never been able to make it past 10 mins or so without having to get up.

Dabs are like the best are worst parts of cannabis without the plant matter. What I mean is most BHO is pretty damn potent but it usually doesn't have as wide a range of cannabinoids as a nice indica will. So the effects can feel much "smoother" sometimes becouse you might be smoking 70-80%+ THC I bought some oil that is tested at 95% THC and like 2-3% CBD/ related compunds.
It has very little flavor but it super smooth both to smoke and also in its effects. At the same time dabs can give you a huge tolerance really quick and be intense.
I have smoked way more then I should over the years so dabs are nice becouse it is more of a vapor and is easier of the throat when used reasonably.
Dabbing hash or kief is my favorite really as it is more natural and tasty often times and the effects are more well rounded then BHO and other oils.

I don't meditate much probably becouse I am stoned all the time and that makes my attention span to short
The harmalas are sedating though and tend to put me in a trance of sorts though, I was pretty impressed and surpised I managed to focus for awhile considering how stimulated the dabs had made. The heart/ blood visual was really interesting though. Only time I have felt so close to my own body really. Harmine/ harmaline are very interesting, they need a lot of caution and respect to be used safely though.

Yeah it is definitely the strongest stuff I have seen tested. Who knows how accurate it is but it had very little taste so I could see it being 98~% cannabinoids.
Surprisingly it actually has a really smooth high, it was like 35$ a gram while on sale worth it just to try it out though.
I still have a very little bit stashed. When I get a better income I can't wait to start trying out random buds and extracts/ edibles
