Just clarify I asked "What county u in" aka hunting in
Not "what county you live in"

They are native to many counties... my patches range over three counties and 70 miles apart.. :confused2:

Nice finds! :super:

I understand your paranoia but am confused why you would post here if that's the case
As doc stated we try to help here... which is why I let ppl know my patches were pinning a couple days ago, so they know conditions were right..

Good luck to all!
Don't get caught out in storm this week!!!:sporedrop:

Where you pinning at?  South? Not as much rain in the forecast as I was expecting to come.  Only calling for a day and a half at my Cherokee county patch

South Cherokee yup!
Gwinnett as well...

Still be small... had to scour the ground and part the grass..
Watered the ones in Cherokee twice now, I hope the rain puts em in full swing :stircauldron:

Tomorrow I check Cobb and Fulton
Now that I think about it I know of patches in 5 counties, only checkin 3 regularly tho...
Hard to find the time away from work these days

Dunno how much range your patch spans but you could try watering it

Didn't find a damn thing in Cobb or Fulton...
Areas didn't seem to be dry, but even so, no activity
ONLY Lacrymaria for days.....

went back to Gwinnett and Cherokee to check the status of things before the big storm..

Cherokee

Gwinnett
These are the ones that have a sickly sweet smell to them...
The pictures don't show it, but in person they are 50% greenish silver and 50% bluish silver, they stay green pretty much all the way up until the spores cover the caps...  The smell is awesome, but they don't pop very often....  but when they do its never solitary, always clustered :sporedrop:
Can't say as to what the potency is, as I am not in a secure situation to take collections :frown:... Only can take pictures and share.

These in particular are a real treat for me to run across, I may visit the site 30 times before I see them...  Hope the storm doesn't wash them away.

Good luck to all!
Stay safe and out of the storm!

I usually give it 3-5 but the last couple weeks have been catch up---I would assume in about 48 hours if you have a patch that already produces regularly you should see something---

the nice cool temps and these downfalls should bring something, I saw lots of random non-active growth today----

September is a great month! September 2003 was the Suwanee sewer line haul of thousands!
