I know this isn't a cultivation thread and this will probably be the last ones I post here but I'm super excited to show you guys, my very first and successful grow. Like finding my first weilii this was a couple years of research and I finally felt comfortable (and not waste a bunch of money) trying my hand at it.

In the pic on the left, are those 2 small cakes on the top right showing signs of blueing or mold or is it just the image quality?
They look a tad on the dry side. Are you misting them? Bottom watering really helped my cakes a lot.
Great looking cakes nontheless :congrats:
Don't know if you've seen them but these were helpful when dialing in conditions Proper surface moisture and CBK's bottom watering tek

Sorry to hijack the thread guys :peacesign:

Steevo- the top 2 fruited about 3 days before my pints I left the lower one in there to catch up with the top on. The lower one was harvested (tried without handling too much but ultimately had to use a little force) and blued pretty hard. All of them seem healthy with no mold (just the deep psilo blue) they've all since been dunked and rehydrated, and are already starting to pin again. The upper one is kinda greying a little from the mycelium recovering. But yeah I think it's image quality.
I feel sorry for those on the east coast but I can't wait for the hurricane rains hopefully it brings the Temps back up too, been kinda on the chilly side these past few nights

The hurricane won't bring the temps up man it's fall.  The drop in temp with the rain is what makes them fruit.  I can't wait for this hurricane.  The suspense is killing me

The temps got cooler from the change in jet stream bringing the cool air from the north. I was saying that maybe a hurricane sized storm might push the stream back up. Fall doesn't start til the 22nd. I've been waking up to Temps in the mid 50s (cherokee) and it staying like that til about 11, 12ish. I haven't found many but I have cross referenced you guys photos with day weather maps and IMO they do best when lows are at night are in the mid 60s to highs during the day at high 70s. That's when you guys have the biggest hauls....Man I sound like a dick sorry about that bloody

Been thinking about that watching all the models Cham. If it homds on the course its on now and we get direct monsoon type rain. For consecutive days i definitely think so. There was another time in early 2000's they grew like that too. Cant remember what storm rolled thru but i literslly just got in my truck and drove around and found hundreds everywhere. Some of those places never fruited again. We are due though, its been atleast 5 years since ive seen anything like that.

Lol youd rather not say what county your in? I dont think giving your county will cause you to have any "run ins" while out there hunting spongy. Paranoid much? There is more chance of being monitored on this web site than out in the field buddy.

Those look more like honeys to me, I don't see any blueing from the one you picked
