He kept following me... Very close as well, like 20 feet away...
It's obvious someone's helped raise, or more likely, has been feeding it...

Okay so I found 5lb of fresh weilii today but over half of them are black on the bottom and are looking older but not squishy rotten. I can't tell if their okay to eat or if I should just toss them

id wash em up, dehydrate, and enjoy em in a million different ways. you can pick through those and get some clean ones.
gonna hit my patch tomorrow AM, havent seen anything there though.

oh dang---did not know this. good info. Ive always washed em---some batches last me years...
I am done washing now, however per advice---my wife actually told me not to wash em once. Here comes an I told you so...good tip!

I use a classic ronco dehydrator... Heres a batch from 2012, Imma eat today in 2017--right now in fact, Im eatin em. and they good.
