I feel like it's gotta be better than ripping out big hunks of mycelium. It's a matter of opinion though, some people say using scissors is worse.

The really bruised ones are cut, even if it's only a few. Do you use a knife or just try to pinch the stem?

I either carefully pull them out or pinch it at the ground.  Though I read a study in UK that did both and surprisingly the patches they pulled seem to do better next harvest

Do you have a link to that study, Bloody? Interesting if so... noticed the 2-3 or so lewp cut were the ones that just looked insanely beautiful blue... I always try to pinch them off or cut them... man, found a bunch of shit today, but no actives... still looking... so busy with work, but keep finding myself pulling over and scoping every habitat that looks promising... Good luck ladies...
