Found these yesterday in my field and a bunch of pins around them.
Under estimated there power  They allowed me to see my front yard grow from spring to summer to fall with the most vibrant colors i'v ever seen! Swirling rainbow's the hole 9 yards!! Get out there Guys cuz it's poppin!

Not from GA, however PERFECT example of substrate it is found in on the butts. Red/brown, clay and peat. Or what I see as peat is actually someone's garden soil.

I was beginning to wonder if you Georgians were sleepin...

Looks like this year is gonna have to be a "re-build" year since last year weather hit the patches so hard....

Went on an Oyster hunt today in a place where I usually haul out a bucket full...  Only to find that the whole place has been chemically treated and killed all vegetation.....  along with it, my oyster seem to have disappeared as well???

Ah well, stumbled upon something else  :dancer:
Left these be, Hope they breed many more babies and the area becomes more prolific!

Edit: just noticed I posted bad pics :frown:

Much larger than I usually find, and very different scent than I am accustomed with these. First time find without red, floccose stems...

Cool guys... what parts of Ga?... more pics/habitat pics?...

I agree confuzzed, think that drought last fall was brutal on a lot of plant life... fingers crossed it's above average rainfall year... we need it...

I was up and down the river and streams feeding it.  And my known spots.
I did find a spot near my house that had a couple Lacrymarias growing within bamboo and could smell a really strong farinaceous scent.  Hoping to find something there

can you imagine growing up knowing you were an Agrocybe and that people would always be initially excited from about 15 feet away but then wholly disappointed to see you?

tough life.
