Cool to come home everyday and just peek in on these little guys. These do have spores, the base of the stems are nice and covered. Hopefully it continues to spread all year. I have been printing caps and saving them on tin foil to redistribute where ever I see fit and it works.

Nice spore-spreading phish.

And more ovoids??!! The blue one in pic 1 is clearly an ovoid, and I think the others are too (hopefully not Agrocybe).

Found these a half mile or so upstream of the find a couple weeks ago. Also growing on wood.

Growing ~30 ft from the edge of a steep creek bank, which dropped down ~10 ft to the creek.

In the first pic, it wasn't growing on that wood, I just put it there for the pic.

The habitat and fallen tree:

This tree was nearby (sycamore?):

The patches have debris like this near them, but I haven't seen the ovoids growing from these areas:

And another pic from the other spot downstream:

Easily when you find rare psilocybes for a region, that's typically the case. I'm stoked, I've been looking around Georgia for a long time for them. Even if I didn't find them I excited that they are definitely here. Just gotta keep searching in areas I know they'd be. Great work on the ovoids bro.

These are the prints I took yesterday. Very heavy sporulating. Gonna redistribute my next trip out. If you have areas that you think would be awsome and looks right, donthis and make your own patches.

Little trick for good prints: put a little water inside the caps before you print so that it moistens up the gills. I used distilled water but not sure it matters. Then I print on foil and cover with Saran Wrap so it hold in moisture. Very nice prints everytime

Thanks guys. Looks like I'll be continuing upstream. I'd love to get these going on some wood chips after seeing those huge finds from the ovoid thread.

And rest assured, I've sprayed down some spots with some spores.

Good luck out there.

If ovoids are down where you are, then there's sure to be some in Bartow. I'm hoping so.

Yea I do but no bluing on any of the stems or gills. So I guess that rules out Psilocybe. Thanks my friend

I feel the same way.  I just gotta keeping searching these river beds and creeks down my way.  Haven't had the chance to go up river yet. But if it rains like they say it's going to them I'll have the day off too go up river and check out these areas  I know of that seem like great habitats or ovoid and Caerulipes as well.  But not sure how lucky I'll get with the Caerulipes.
