Some locations are microclimate and places where fog will linger in the mornings they get a good drink everyday. If it's well shaded. They can keep going as long as the fog and run off from surrounding areas accumulate water in my area also from a creek and little retention long nerby. Haven't found any actually in the woods areas yet.

Posted this in It’s own thread but figured I’d post here as well for visibility. New book out specifically on Georgia mushrooms from the Iniversity of Georgia called: Mushrooms of the Georgia Piedmont and Southern Appalachians: A Reference. It looks pretty legit. Comes sealed in plastic though so I wasn’t able to leaf through it. I’ll probably pick it up this winter.

I have those all over by patches and close proximity to patches of Caerulescens. They just have white gills, and spore print

HumbleHunt said: Keep looking dude. Think of it like all this work you're putting into searching and thinking about them is like your karma. Its all gonna pay off if you hang in there. Stay positive and have faith. Talk to them. Think about them. Manifest them.
I'll try to remember to snap some habitat photos tomorrow for you. Most my spots are on slopes where someone dumped fill dirt, they graded it and made it nice and neat, grass and briars and shit covered it. They like hiding. All spots are where runoff water pools or flows, all spots have ugly bullshit grass growing, some tall and folded over creating little moisture pockets, all growing from brownish moist soft clay soil. One spot is only covered by pine straw right beside a walking path. Two others are on the side of the hills like I said, another is in a water eroded runoff trail, another is where runoff makes a pool until it disperses/evaporates but there is always grass. They are always hiding. Water is always included. Sweetgums are always included. You can even smell the dirt in most spots and you get that Weilii-like smell.
Of course this is all just my experience and this is my first year. They grow in all sorts of places. I wish I could show you.
Thank you! I'll keep looking. I keep sticking to the pine straw and Bermuda grass and come up with not much. I need to find the places you are speaking of.

What’s up brethren. The weilii are out! Was lucky enough to have my second find today. Found these in LaGrange, GA. Wasn’t able to get a habitat picture, but I found them on a slope. I couldn’t see them just looking at the grass, I had to dig around underneath and really look for them. They were hidden deep underneath the grass and seemed be in these brown patches in the grass. I was pressed for time today because I had to go back to work but im gonna be hunting a lot around Troup county the next few days, I have a feeling I can find way more of these babies.
