Well if y'all are taking prints too then I'd love to get one from one of you. I've been wanting to see if I can get some weilli going either indoors or in an outdoor bed or others specific to this area that other people can't find

I’ve put in a good 50+ hoursof hunting this year and have yet to find a single thing. I’m jealous of all of you, great finds though. It’s especially frustrating when people mention places so close to me haha. Good luck.

I was lucky enough to find them back in April. Seems like the same habitat where all you guys find em. Search my name and 'ovoids' for pics and info.
I think they've been found in GA a couple times, according to MO. I think there was even a find in FL posted on here a few years ago.
lol, I've spent time with them, and Origyn is right.
I've seen the posts of the GA finds, I was really stoked when I saw your post earlier this year, and that old FL find, but there was a lot of debate about whether or not they were introduced by man as they were in mulch in a development. I just want to know how common they are here in the south, whether or not they are only found in river systems that are connected to the rivers where they are common in the north. Or if they are taking hold here in the south because people brought them here, or if they've been under everyone's noses the whole time. I'm on the Carolina coast and I'm curious if they can be found here. It seems plausible because they are found all the time in the Chesapeake area. Only way to know is to go out and look, or study the flows of rivers and explore the likely candidates.
No idea how they got here or to FL, but I found two patches about 1/4 mile from each other along the same river system. It's an area with many little creeks and streams intersecting. Not growing on wood chips, but rather woody debris.
Ah, I thought you were in PA, not NC. If they came south to GA through river systems, then NC should be fair game. WOuld love to see you find them.
Those are amazing cubes and copes hexcial.

I won't say names, you know who you are, don't pick weilii at my patch. The police were waiting on me when I pulled up Saturday night. Just bailed out of jail. They told me I was the 3rd person this week to be arrested there for picking mushrooms. Be careful guys. I'm out of the game
