Sexy!!
Checked two of my patches since the rain and nada.... At one I've noticed a squirrel eating my shrooms earlier this year.... found squirrel holes all over my patch this week.... Maybe squirrel stew is in order....

Ah thanks for the info! At first I was fooled thinking it might be a gym.

Ripping the stems out really helped this amazing recovery we are seeing! Now men and few ladies, It is time to literally stop being bitch ass mofoz and cut the stems at the bottom instead of ripping out. I am guilty too. Obviously the weiliii mother source saw that pic taunting the weiliii with the scissors in it with no stems cut.

Walked a patch yesterday and found a handful. Next rain will be better. This rain was absorbed for future fruiting because of the long dry spell. Mycelium will be on better shape. It rained a little today and possibly tomorrow.

Everyone doing well? I haven't looked for any weilii since the hurricane. I might try some today. I still have yet to find weilii. Walking some parks with the family today. Wish me luck! Also I moved into a subdivision loaded with Bermuda grass but not really any pine straw.

I would start looking today. Should be small amounts out. Especially in irrigated areas. Prolly nothing too huge in the way of numbers but I found pins yesterday so there is new growth.

Great advice. You think they like this cold snap?

Do not think they are CRAZY about the cold snap. Perhaps some pinning triggers.

I can confirm 100% that Cham was correct... a couple of thoughts from a first-find point of view..
They really did have a distinct smell. A little like cucumbers.. Secondly, I was expecting them to be larger, despite the countless pictures I had viewed on here and elsewhere. Maybe some are. Despite the size these guys pack one hell of a punch compared to some of the dryed psilocybes I've experienced in the past. Still stunned at how much I've looked this season only to throw in the towel and have them show up in my backyard.

Grats bud. I think I smell every one I pick. Sometimes I smell previously fruiting spots to see if I can smell the myc. If you see a guy sniffing the dirt and mushrooms, it could be me. They can be get to be surprisingly big also.
