Hey guys! I've found what i believed to be a pretty promising spot for some weilli. plenty of pines, very thick pine straw on the ground, plenty of debris and some good open area. alas, i hunted and digged for about an hour with no luck. any tips? i'd include pics of the location but everytime i try to they either come out huge or they don't show up in my pictures after trying to upload them to shroomery

Khaster after spending 2 years trying to find mine the best advice has already been given. Right now is prime time for them to grow go find a place with lots of side walks maybe somewhere that has a rec field with various shrubs and trees with pine straw. Most of the time they look like leaves from far away but walking by you definitely will see them. If you see one in the grass check the pine straw or ivy or kud zu (if any) next to it. Unless it's dry there are always more around it. Don't focus to hard on a spot that looks "ideal" I know it sounds frustrating but just go walk, walk everywhere, put some headphones in and go

Also some more advice khaster don't be a Dick like that captain wookie guy the peeps in here are more than welcome to help if they can within certain perameters (nobody will hold your hand and take you to them) if you think you found one post it everyone is more than happy to try for an ID and everyone that is posting multiple hauls can pretty much tell you by a good pic of them (my first is on page 85 86 I think of this thread) once you do find them post when you do that way when new hunters like yourself or me see it on the thread we know to go try. You'll find them, I believe in you magikarp

Got out for a minute at lunch on Thursday and didn't find anything but I've been pretty covered up at work lately, it's really been eatin' my lunch to learn a whole new industry. I'll be out tomorrow morning though. And thanks for the kind words but I'm just a humble weilii disciple just like the rest of you cats. Team GA all day.

This is my first ever weilii find and I'm confident that after two years of searching I've found the right ones.  There is very pronounced bluing on the stems that appeared after these pictures were taken. All mushrooms were found within a yard from each other in short grass with wide blades.

I would greatly appreciate advice on the potency of these mushrooms along with some reassurance that they are indeed P. Caerolescens.

Sorry for the link but I had difficulty uploading straight to the shroomery.

I'm new so wait for someone with more experience to confirm... but I would say Congrats! Those are caerulescens.  Welcome to the first post killers squad.

I had more luck tonight in Cherokee and will post some pics soon.

I drove straight to Cherokee right after work. Tried to get a variety of habitat shots. Also found the infamous wood weilii.
