1592. I think it went very well! I had the initial virtual interview two weeks ago. This second interview was in-person. The HR girl who met me and introduced me to the interviewees was hot as hell. I was interviewed by two dudes. We basically just went over my experience and what they do in IT at the company. They do solar panel farm and battery installations and maintenance of them and stuff. I was expecting them to give me a coding test or something, but nope, super simple interview. I can't imagine how it could have gone any better! They said they will discuss how it went with each other and get back to me.

Sounds like the beginning of an incredibly exciting adventure for you!
Coincidentally, I am currently in the process of a career change and have just applied for a software engineer job. I'm not sure how far my Cert IV in IT from 2012 will get me but I figured what the hell haha. Plus I've always got ChatGPT
I'm torn between pursuing a programming / software development career or a more 3D modeling / Design / CAD based career which I have a lot more recent experience in.
Exciting times...

Fun fact; Some infinities are larger than others

Yea, I sure hope so. Their office is cool, like a retro brick building made for hipsters. Got a brewery on the other side of the building. Ohhh nice! Join da club. That cert IV sounds useful! Yea, chatGPT might be useful as one tool to get you started in the right direction. I guess choose whichever is more fun for you, or which one pays more. Hmmm I watched your video. I'm not an expert in math, but I don't think that sounds right. Infinity is always infinity. 2*infinity is no bigger than 1*infinity.

You forgot to 1594!
The way I understand it, which may very well be wrong, is to think of it more like comparing two different scaling systems for example:
Infinity #1: Counting whole numbers to infinity 1, 2, 3 etc.
Infinity #2: Counting decimal numbers to infinity 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 etc.
If you put those two side by side, one scales faster than the other and can be considered "larger"
So let's say on the road to counting to infinity, we pause and observe the two infinities when #1 gets to 10.
#1 would contain 10 let's say 'units' (1-10) #2 would contain 100 'units' (1.1-10.0)
If you were to try and visualize two trees growing side by side, one of them (#2) would be growing at 10x the rate as the other, and is therefore "larger".
Remember, infinity is not a number, it is a concept. You can't multiply a concept by a number.

#2 would be growing faster in the number of units than #1, I suppose, yea. Why do you have "larger" in quotes, though?
You should post this in https://math.stackexchange.com/questions and see what the experts have to say.

I'm not really sure to be honest, I suppose to highlight that the term larger or smaller can be relative when applied to numbers.
Fact: 400 is larger than 5 Fact: 400 cents is smaller than 5 dollars
Perhaps I'm reading too much into it haha.
So what programming languages are you familiar with? C# is my specialty, with Visual Basic a close second.

nahh I don't think you are reading too into it. Innovation occurs when someone thinks outside the box. Nice, C# is probably my strongest language at the moment. I used VB.Net and C# at my last job. This company I interviewed for does use C#, but they said they often might "throw me into the pit" with a new language or framework that has no documentation at all. They asked how I would make it work. I said, "well, hopefully the language is verbose enough that I can guess my way through it" I did something similar with making a VBA script for a macro at a previous job.
I'm good with web techs like HTML, CSS, JavaScript (React, Angular, jQuery). Did Java in college. Used Python at internship. I'm very experienced with SQL.
