Couldn't find the answer to this "Using The Search Function", had people tell me they used each of them.
Just wanted to clarify this for the next new guy who can't get an answer on what exactly micropore is.

The places I went had brands with no designation on the inside of the roll or package, or they were on a plastic dispenser with no way to read it.
Walmart had some in the end. (Nexcare 3M gentle paper.)

-------------------- The biggest trip of my life was realizing all of the events and actions described in posts made by this account were never real and had never actually happened, but were instead the delusional ramblings of a severely mentally ill human being. I just had to move on for my own good. I love you all.

Sorry for resurrecting... I've used 3M transpore (plastic). would it be more beneficial to get the actual micropore (paper) tape?

Don't know if paper is better than plastic but paper is the micropore and the plastic is labeled as transpore. Google will give you a full description. These are trademark names and I do not think they incorporate every brand but the material is probably similar as it is first aid equipment.
I have discussed this with a few members and all of the above work, I have no idea how they compare as nobody has done a side by side comparison... as far as I know.

It is and is micropore which is a 3M trademark name so any similar breathable paper tape should do. I'm using it on some jar lids in 3 ply and it's working fine.
