Anyone know of a website or prior post regarding the different drug laws of different countries? If not, i'd like to make a pool of people's knowledge here.
[i know that techincally most every country has signed an international agreement restricting illegal drug trade, but this list includes countries who 'look the other way']
1. Holland -marijuana selling, possession and smoking in bars tolerated -mushrooms sale, possession and use tolerated
2. Switzerland -marijuana in specific and sparse locations sold, home use tolerated
3. Costa Rica -I've heard growing it on your own property is pretty much tolerated?
4. Belgium -small possession legal
what others?

I've seen a good page on Erowid about this before, but I can't find it now.

America is pissed at canada right now because there is a safe injection site in vancouver.
Canada is clearly in violation of international treaties by allowing the use of illegal narcotics in a safe house out of health concerns.
This is the first step to cultural acceptance of altered states. unfortunately, it is "illegal."
But, none of this is really the issue. When they are carpet bombing nova scotia, the issue won't be health anymore.

Fresh mushrooms are not 'tolerated' in the netherlands..they are legal. And under the EU free trade act...any food/drug that is legal in one country must be able to be exported by that country to other countries within the EU. This is why you can buy them in Switz and soon Germany and soon all of the EU. That is unless enough pressure is put the dutch to make it illegal...NOT GONNA HAPPEN!!! You can find out all this info and more on the World trade org homepage.
